Let’s Talk Linens: How to Organize and Store Linens

When it comes to luxury linens, it is important to make sure they last for as long as possible. This is especially true if you have multiple bed sets depending on the season. At Pioneer Linens, we have over 115 years of experience helping customers find the perfect bed collection for them, which is why we want to make sure you know how to store your linens to improve their longevity. If you have any questions regarding our wide selection of bed linens, call us at 800-207-5463, email customerservice@pioneerlinens.com for more information, or even visit our store at 210 Clematis Street in West Palm Beach.

Organizing Table Linens

Table linens are an essential addition to you and your house guests’ dining room experience. The first thing you should do before putting them in a designated storage area, is separate them based on product type. This means separating your tablecloths, napkins, placemats, table runners, and other table linens into their own drawer or cabinet. Once you have a unique section for each type of product, you can then start ordering them by whichever characteristic you want, such as size or color.

It is CRUCIAL that you find a someplace dry for your spare linens in order to prevent them from suffering any permanent water damage.

Organizing Bed Linens

Bed linens might be a bit more difficult, as they require far more space and are usually limited to whatever room you can find in your bedroom. We recommend setting up room in a closet or large nightstand. Like table linens you’ll want to make sure that the area you place them in is completely dry. You will also be organizing them based on preference as you would with table linens.

Since bed linens are used every night and table linens are only used on occasion, you can use this new organized space in your bedroom to plan the bed set you will use for the week.
