With the winter holiday break upon us, your guest bedroom is likely to be full of family, friends, and perhaps even the errant acquaintance looking for a tropical crash pad. Since your guest room is the new hotel room, we asked professional organizer Korinne Belock of Urban Simplicity how to give your guests a five star experience in your home.

"There are so many easy upgrades to give your guest a hotel quality stay," says Belock. "Starting in the closet, make sure you have matching hangers available, and use one to hang a plush robe. Next to the bed, leave a pair of slippers, an eye mask, a carafe of water and glassware."
For an added touch, adds Belock, use a holiday diffuser or candle to give the room a signature scent. Finally, "a luggage rack makes packing and unpacking so much easier and can be easily tucked away when not in use."
