As stated before, most of the products they offer are made from Egyptian Cotton. This type of cotton is mainly created in Giza, as the unique soil there makes the cotton yarns soft, strong, and extra absorbent. Most of Abyss & Habidecor’s products are also made into Extra Long Staple (ELS), which is only a small percentage of the cotton production in Egypt, making it the highest quality cotton it can be! Not only does the ELS cotton make it softer, but it also makes it last longer than standard towels too.
They also make their products more streamlined into Long Staple (LS). This type of cotton is made by an operation spinner that removes short fibers from the yarn that gets combed through it. This allows for only the long durable fibers to be used for the Habidecor rugs.
